Do origins matter?

Most people say “not really.” What matters is what has morphed into now. So if culture deems a thing good, beautiful or useful, any dark beginnings it may have had no longer matter.

But is that true?

If a certain practice like yoga or chiropractic or therapy was created by occultists who received the ideas from ancient gods—could participating in them have negative spiritual consequences? If a popular movie or book was channeled by an author who speaks with demons, should we watch or read it?

For far too long, many modern-day Christians have rushed headlong toward things that become popular in society simply because they don’t care about origins. No one wants to be the person who won’t watch something or do something because they’re concerned about the spiritual implications. Thus, we now have a generation of Christians so terrified of being called “legalistic,” they’d rather embrace evil than stand against anything that’s been deemed “cool” by our culture.

Truth Warrior exists to explore the occult origins of activities and franchises that very few people are questioning. Whether you’re visiting a chiropractor, talking to a therapist, or watching Wicked, you may not think there’s anything spiritual involved…but could you be wrong?

Truth Warrior sheds light on the occult origins of pop culture phenomenon while also tackling issues that currently divide the church (LGBTQ, marijuana, AI, etc.). These issues have only become divisive because Christians are still attempting to use reason and logic to argue the opposition, rather than realizing which ancient gods the practitioners are communing with.

My hope is that reading Truth Warrior will inspire you to turn to the one true God of scripture—the God who reigns supreme over all other deities who gain power by the diabolical and often perverse practices of our modern era.
